An exceptional opportunity is now available to join a large and diversified mining company with significant assets across multiple commodities. This reputable employer offers you a choice of FIFO rosters or residential living depending on your preference so you can be a part of their major expansion project which will see ore being delivered from 3 separate mines.
This career defining role will see you responsible for all geology activities associated with the Underground Operations. Be a complex and structurally controlled deposit you will be required to manage the day to day interaction and direction to the mine geologists.
Reporting to the General Manager you will impact heavily on the delivery and implementation of sampling, mapping and grade control procedures; resource and reserve modelling and calculations; mine design and mine production; management of geological database and preparation and submission of statutory reports.
In this integral role you will be an experienced Mine Geologist with extensive experience in Underground structurally controlled environments. You will be particularly strong with people management and enjoy mentoring and driving teams to reach goals and best practice performance. You will be a strong communicator who can effectively liaise with the technical team in a corporate or hands on technical capacity.
An excellent salary and benefits package circa $200K will be negotiated to attract the skills and technical knowledge required to drive this major expansion project.
